Rachel Bailit
Rachel Bailit is an Actress, Journalist, Acting Teacher at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute
She performed her acclaimed one-woman show, “Sugar Happens”, written by Emmy winning writer Sherry Coben and directed by David Lee Strasberg and Phil Ramuno, for five years in Los Angeles, including The Comedy Central Stage, and at St. Luke’s Theatre in New York City.
She created a hit column for The Los Angeles Independent Newspaper “Diary of an Actress” based on her life.
Rachel’s acting credits include Paramount’s “Festival In Cannes” directed by Henry Jaglom. She played alongside Jim Carrey in Ron Howard’s “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”. Rachel has appeared in many television shows including “The Conan O’Brien Show”, “Desperate Housewives”, “Jon Benjamin Has a Van”, “Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show”, “NYPD Blue” and the role of “Marissa” in “General Hospital”. She stars in two webisodes: "Diary of an Actress and "The Vamps Next Door".
She most recently starred in a three new films, “Stay Sane” (Winner Los Angeles Film Awards), “The Shade” (Winner Sin City Festival) and “Marzipan”, opening in 2022.
Rachel works as a model for animation studios and video game companies throughout Southern California including Disney Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Imageworks, Nickelodeon “The Simpsons”, “Family Guy”, “American Dad”, Blizzard Entertainment, Naughty Dog, Sony Online, Obsidian Entertainment, and Mattel Toys.
Rachel is a Red Carpet Host hosted has hosted events at CBS Studio Center for CDI Kids, and “New York In Hollywood” to benefit The CSUN Music Therapy Clinic.
Rachel is a proud union member of SAG-AFTRA and Actor’s Equity Association. She is a member of The Los Angeles Military Personnel and Families Support and Governance committees at SAG-AFTRA.
